I believe in the power of giving kids choices, in fact I could write a whole other (long) post about why I think this is so important, but not today. I'll just say this, we talk a lot about choices in our home especially with Big. And he has really latched onto the concept, so the other day when I asked him what he did at school I wasn't too surprised at his answer. Little on the other hand...
Me - Big, what did you do at school today?
Big - oh, I just made good choices. Little, did you make good choices today?
Little - No
So, I think honesty is also a pretty important value. I'm glad to see that Little is at least getting that one!
